rainbows

Just thinking today about how much I love the rain. Call me crazy.

It hasn’t rained since Steve was diagnosed.

It felt clean. A fresh start.

With the turning of the seasons, comes the turning of the minds. A revitalization.

I saw this. I’d say it’s straight to the point. AKA poignant. And, although it puts a negative spin on rain, you get the point.

“the way i see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain” – dolly parton

And a picture because lulu always brightens our day when she comes to visit. Even of it’s raining outside and she can’t play. She’ll soon forgot the ‘pain’ once the rainbow comes out.

Jules - Oh how I adore your posts! such a wise one you are! we all are in need of a fresh start every now and then!

Briony - i love that quote…it is so true. such a sweet pic too :)

Adrienne Gunde - It definitely was wonderful to have that day of rain, even though it’s now as hot as ever again! Beautiful quote and beautiful photo, and as always, wishing all the best for you and Steve! :)

Will Kim - love the quote jen! your posts are always deep and makes me reflect which is always a good thing! =)
I love the photo of the lulu, my fav!

joy chesbrough - Jonathan shared your photos (LuLu) with me recently. He is very proud of your work and I can see why. WOW, you truly have a beautiful gift Jen. I just noticed your post and felt like responding(I hope you don’t mind). It is a wonderful story (your story) and I am so sad you had to go through what you did, but am very happy at the outcome of Steve’s recovery. I understand the anquish, fear, and inner groaning of desiring your loved one (spouse) to become well, health is the greatest gift we have and we take it for granted, sometimes I wonder if its tested so we can learn how to truly LIVE. Your journey with your husband is one nobody wants to find themselves in. Each person’s footsteps are different, but in the end it tests your strength and love for one another….it also allows us to believe that there is always hope. I am very happy that Steve has recovered, and I wish you both much love, health and living…..Bless you!
